The biopsy that your physician has performed has been sent to AAD Pathology for analysis by one of our pathologists. This comprehensive pathology consultation service includes sample transportation, gross examination, slide preparation, review of slides, and finally the reporting of results to your physician. Your physician then uses the diagnostic information to treat or manage your condition. You and/or your insurance company will receive a bill from AAD Pathology for these technical and professional services. This bill is separate from the bill that your physician will render for preforming the biopsy.
