Charles Knapp, MD, was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Dr. Knapp then received his medical degree at the University of South Florida in 2009.
Dr. Knapp completed his internship and residency at the University of South Florida. He received additional training during his fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Alabama. Dr. Knapp holds board certification in Dermatology and is licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Alabama.
Dr. Knapp has received numerous academic honors and awards, including the prestigious Physician-In-Training award from the American Society of Dermatopathology. He has been extensively published in a number of peer-reviewed academic journals and has presented several of his papers at national meetings. Dr. Knapp is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, the American Medical Association and the Dermatology Foundation.
With deep roots in the Tampa community, Dr. Knapp is dedicated to community service and has volunteered at Moffit Cancer Center, Children’s Cancer Center, Shriners Hospital for Children and the Judeo-Christian Health Clinic.
